Background
Originally founded as Real Salt Lake (RSL) Basketball Academy in 2020, our program has helped over 25 players move on to the college level. Currently, several players in the program hold Division 1 offers.

All teams within the program compete on the prep basketball stage throughout the United States which provide opportunities for quality competition and college recruiting exposure.
Program Structure
National Varsity Team - Plays against the best competition in the United States with the goal of reaching the Geico National Tournament. (Grades 9-12)

Varsity Black Team - Competes against prep schools throughout the United States. (Grades 9-12)
​
Varsity Gold Team - Competes against prep schools throughout the United States. (Grades 9-12)
​
Post Graduate Team - 5th Year Program that competes against junior colleges and prep schools around the United States. (5th Year/Post Graduate Students)

Middle School Program - Program modeled after European academies with a focus on skill development and decision making. Intended to provide a boost before entering high school. Teams play in many local and regional middle school events. (Grades 6-8)
Academics
Utah Prep athletes attend school at Mount Vernon Academy, which is a private school here in Utah. Mount Vernon has academic advisors who ensure players are taking correct courses to be eligible for college.

Mount Vernon Academy is an approved NCAA scholastic school.
